Brattie Paints the 2015 HCM Art Show Picture
The Bratwurst Festival Art Show at HomeCare Matters Home Health and Hospice returns August 13 and 14 from 1pm to 8pm and August 15 from noon to 8pm at HomeCare Matters Bucyrus Office, 133 South Sandusky Avenue, Bucyrus, Ohio.
The Art Show is a chance for artists of all ages to display their art and win prizes in 4 different categories.
“Art can ease the heart and calm emotions,” said Dean Heid, HomeCare Matters Development and Marketing Coordinator. “That’s why HomeCare Matters is honored to be a part of the Bratwurst Festival by hosting the Art Show. As with last year, all judging will be done by the public with People’s Choice-Best of Show winners announced Saturday the 15th at noon. A huge thanks to Ryder-Heil Bronze for donating the prize money. As in previous years, all of HomeCare Matters hand-crafted Memorial Quilts will be on display giving a chance for families to gather and remember their passed loved ones by viewing the squares they designed themselves.”
The Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival Art Show is free and open to the public. Local artists can submit their works by downloading the forms here (Call For Art, Entry Form). Artists will be judged in the following categories- Best of Show-Child (11 and under), Best of Show-Youth (12-17), Best of Show- Adult, Best of Show- Professional. Winners will be awarded $50 each donated by Bucyrus’ Ryder-Heil Bronze.
